Changed mine out this weekend. $57 on amazon.

Just pulled mine off today. And boy am I glad I did! Not as bad as some of y'all's but still getting replaced with the doorman from eBay. $59 shipped.

Just replaced mine with the dorman. Man was it terrible, cracked in half and crumbling everywhere. Glad i found this thread since i probably would have been stranded sometime in the near future. thanks to the op for this thread. Got it for $58.99 shipped from ebay.

Got my replacement today! Seems to be GREAT quality. Even came with two sets of hardware,for frame mounted or crossmember mount.

When y'all install these new FPD's are you using the rubber spacers to eliminate the metal to metal contact with the cross-member?

just tried to check mine... only to find that my F***ing key won't work on the god D*** lock thing so i can't even get the spare off if i needed too >

Yes,you can see the spacers in the second bag in my pic. Also comes with hardware for frame mounted units,not sure what vehicles those are tho.

...yeah ..I had that problem too...soak it and wait a while. It does get all tarred and feathered with grime.

yah i tried that... used enough PB Blaster to kill an elephant no change... i think i may have to break it i just hope i don't get a flat until i can get around to it
