Fuel Pressure Gauge

Hi all. I was wondering if any one out there has installed a fuel pressure gauge? I have a 2005 4.6L and would just like to be able to monitor my fuel pressure. Plus it would be easier to diagnose and possibly catch something before becoming a major issue. Any input is appreciated. Thanks

The edge programmers allow you to watch fuel pressure. That's what I use.

I have a scan gauge II but when I go to the fuel pressure gauge nothing pops up. I also have a diablosport intune and I just don't want to go out and buy another $300 programmer to monitor just the fuel pressure. The scan gauge monitors everything I want except the fuel pressure.

Not sure with the 04-08s if there is a factory sending unit to monitor it. On my 03 I had to remove the small sharder(sp) valve, install an adapter then a stainless flex line(remote mount) and then the AutoMeter sending unit. The reason for the flex line is due to the vibrations on te engine causing premature sensor failure.

I want to say they do have a factory sending unit. If I remember correctly when hook up my brothers trinity just to monitor various things fuel pressure is one of them. Would you happen to have a picture of the schrader valve? I'm not sure mine has a Schrader valve.

See the black cap on the right? It's under it.

Thank you. Mine definitely doesn't have that. Thank you though.
