"I have an 06 lariat screw 5.4 4x4 with an edge evo cs and with mostly city driving I averge 12.2. I really don't drive hard either. I keep the edge on level 1 (trans only) with 91 fuel. These trucks drink gas. But that's to be expected when u drive a friggin battle ship. "

If you are buying 91 octane you may want to try running the level 3. I say this only cuz I was running 91 Oct with the level 2 and getting about 12-13 MPG (Calculated) and someone on here suggested to me that I would get better MPG if I ran the level 3 since 91 Oct is what they designed for that level. Hope this helped!! Oh yeah, almost forgot, trick is that you gotta try to keep your foot out of it tho.

In light of the recent "whats your gas mileage" threads I'm bringing this one back to the top because it's the only one I'm gonna partake in.

Here's where I'm at as of this morning after a complete fill up. I still haven't figure out what size tank I have specifically, but the information center said I had 50miles left before empty, and it took 24.XX gallons to top off.

Truck is still bone stock and I run 87 octane (Utah). Calculated vs. displayed MPG is usually within 1/2 a mile difference. The display is always higher though.

I have an 05 sales brochure that lists the options available for the 05 models. This should help in identifying what tank(s) were available for the Lariat. Then we can go from there.

And "Go Gators""

ok thank you much. I've skimmed through my manual several times but I never find anything unless I am specifically looking for it. Will give that a whirl.
