Okay so I got a bad batch of fuel so I pulled my fuel tank took the fuel pump off and cleaned it all out. Reinstalled everything filled my truck up with about 28 gallons and gas gauge is stuck on 1/2 tank full. Any clue on what's going on or what I could have done wrong?

 

Sounds like you bent the float rod when you pulled the pump out. Or is bound up on something in the tank.

 

I was very careful taking it out and putting it back in. I know I didn't bend it and the hose that goes into the tank wasn't in the way of the float.
