Default Frozen door pronlem

Went to get something out of backseat today and door wouldn't open. Super crew. Went to other side and reached across seat and same outcome. Door won't open. Any ideas?

A little more info would be helpful for someone to help you:
Is it cold at your place?
Is there possibly a mechanical issue?

Sorry yes it was 30 this morning. Not sure if it could be mechanical, this is first truck I owned however I have never had a problem with it.

What will silicone spray so for seals if I get it open?

On way to inlaws for thanksgiving I thought maybe when I hit unlock it was frozen and did not actually unlock the door. When trying from outside and inside I felt handle not catching on anything. So I will double check that when I get home

It sounds mechanical to me. I'm having a similer problem with my 04' and at 30*F it shouldnt be freezeing. I've had my truck in -25*F and it didn't freeze Im just not sure what part to replace. the latch. the handles, the cable?

Well I won't even know how to replace anything if it's mechanical and I can't get door open to work on it

Then take it to the dealer...

Did you happen to wash it before the temperature dropped, or was it raining?

If it's not an issue with frozen door seals, then it's a usually a mechanical issue with the catch/latch mechanism. Something's either broke or out of adjustment. This isn't a Ford problem, all vehicles are susceptible to this.

Hoping it's just seal froze. Been raining, snowing, icing for last 2 days straight

From the inside, try opening it with some light pressure. I've forced them before and never had an issue tearing a seal.

i did try opening it form inside but leaning over seat so i didnt have alot of pressure and it wouldnt budge.

when i got home last night i tried again, unlocked, locked, unlocked doors and with some force it did open. i felt/heard the seal around the door as someone mentioned. however i could feel the mechanism catching this time. i deff couldnt before. i wonder if it was the seal and mechanism.

someone mentioned silicone spray. will that really help?
