you are still driving for 1~2 months with the bearings grinding?
wouldn't that kind make matters worse or over-complicate the situation?
i am not even driving it at all and left it parked at home, i remember when i drove home that night pedestrians were staring at the truck, cos the grinding noise Was kinda loud.

Hi all here is an update:
I contacted the finance manager and he tried the vehicle himself and noticed the 4x4 didn't even work and that the wheel bearings were bad including the iwe actuator. So he's gonna send it to the mechanic to fix everything, i hope.

Default I have the same problem.

I have the same probem now, and also 3 days after I bought my truck used. The dealer replaced the part, they said $400.00. That time it was real loud, but when I put it in 4x4, or when I backed up, the noise went away. Six months later I have the same problem, the noise is not quite as loud, but is anoing. There has to be some reason why it wants to engage but doesn't. Just replacing the part only to replace it again in six months. I want to know why it is doing it. Thanks.
