Default New Exhaust and Gotts Modd Added!

So I ordered my new exhaust last week...finally got it all installed and it sounds amazing...it took me a while to decide on which to get and i'm not let down at all by the sound. It doesn't have that dreaded cabin drone while cruising the highway, also isn't an arrogant sounding idle, but you defiantly notice when I pull away and jump on it..

I didn't notice much of a difference with anything from just the Exhaust, but since I did the Gotts Mod, I can for sure feel a responce difference at higher speeds (55+), but even at lower speeds it's better then what it was.

Anyone has any questions on anything i've done, feel free to ask!

Here's some pics of what i've added..very pleased with it all!

It's really a simple install, I got the pipe from work for free and the connector was like $5 at Home Depot. The hardest part was shaving the one side down so it fit in the fender... My first piece I made too loose, so my second one I did a little at a time until it was snug..I got about 1" 3/4 of the pipe into the fender and its snug almost all the way around. Best of luck to you when you do this!

Exactly what size connectors do I need? I live in germany and have to plan this out before I go to the hardware store here. They go by metric here not standard, pretty annoying.

You'll need a 3 Inch Piece of PVC Pipe, which is actually 3 1/2 inches when said and done which is where shaving it down comes in hand. Then you'll need a 3inch to 3inch connector pieces, I'll find you a picture of one. The hole in the fender is only 3 1/4 inches... let me find you a converter so you can convert inches to metric.

Heres a converter http://www.worldwidemetric.com/measurements.html

Here's what it will look like http://images.bizrate.com/resize?sq=140&uid=1843696221

Any other questions feel free to ask!

My issue is this and only this. I don't quite understand how the PVC goes into the fender. You said the fender inlet is 3 1/4? The PVC is 3? So why must you shave it down? Are you shaving the PVC down to slide in? This is the only part I'm not grasping mainly bc I don't know what it looks like off. I've never removed my airbox. Just wanna make sure I got everything in mind of what I need before I go. It's always a adventure dealing with germans lol

The size of the pipe is 3 inch yes...but the TOTAL width of the pipe is 3 1/2 inch. Each end has 1/4 of tubing I guess? Idk how to explain it other than measure a peice and you'll see what I mean lol You just need to shave 1/4 of an inch off and it fits like a glove.
