I'm looking to do a front brake job on my truck. My current rotors shake when braking, are grooved, and my pads are getting pretty low so I suppose it's about time. I've been doing some research and learned that the hub and rotor is one assembly on these 2wd trucks. Because of that, I have been looking at getting an EBC brake kit. I found a kit for about $250 on autoanything.com, that comes with a 2-piece hub and separate rotor (not slotted or drilled) and greenstuff 6000 pads. I thought this would be a good route to have the hub and rotor, but I haven't ever worked on the brakes on these trucks, so I'm looking for any input y'all may have. Quality is important to me, but I would like to keep the price in the $250 range.
