Forscan issue
Hi guys
I just discovered Forscan on youtube. It seems to me like software.
I wonder where we could buy this software? And how much does it cost?
I would like to install it on my computer that has windows 10.
In the video I saw I think the computer communicate with the truck by bluetooth.
I prefer to connect the computer to the truck with a cable from the USB port is it possible to communicate this way?
My truck is a F150 lariat 5.4 3V year 2007.
Thanks for your help

There is tons of information on the forum about ForScan https://www.f150forum.com/f38/forsca...ations-349018/ It is free to download and I don't know if there is a USB to OBDII cable or not. The reason you don't see much about it in here is because you can't do much if anything with 11th gen trucks. Most of the usability with ForScan starts in the 12th gen 2009 and up trucks. What are you hoping to accomplish with ForScan in your truck?

Ah I thought he was good for the 2004/2008 version
I would have liked to be able to monitor the injection times. See o2 sensor charts control fuel loops. Monitor the transmission.
Currently I have an elite actron but it does not show the transmission for example.
I would have liked to have a fairly complete program to monitor that everything is working well.

For monitoring I suggest using a cheap Android and getting the TorquePro app. You can't change any settings but you can monitor just about anything the truck monitors. If you're just wanting to monitor stuff ForScan might be able to do that but I'm not sure. I use the TorquePro app. There is quite a bit of information on the forum here about it and @F150Torqued knows TONS about it!

And in case of failure pro torque does it really have to define the fault? I do not want to do any surveillance while driving.
Can Torque Pro see the transmission solenoids and display the transit time?
I do not know if you know me for my 94 gm diesel I use GMTD scan tech. I would like to find the same program for my Ford. Know how to make injector scales for example. Watch the torque converter.

Forscan works great. You have to download it, then email them the user key for them to give you full activated version to access all the features. You will need an OBD 2 Dongle. I have one with USB and plug it up to my CPU in my shop and monitor it on a 47" TV which works great. I also have a bluetooth and wifi dongle. The USB has greater bandwidth so it pings quicker and will refresh more parameters than the others.
torque pro is great also, I use it every day. But, when I'm trouble shooting, forscan is the way to go. You can control each individual module, so PATS programming and even write code if you know how.
hope this helps

,Yes
u can do key on engine off 9n demand self tests, key on engine on on demand self tests, control many different functions.
I used 8t to determine my intake manifold runner control was bad. It will allow u to open and close it with the engine off to see the position. Same with instrument cluster, u can turn on and off each light separately to see if their working or not, it goes on and on really. Iv been messing with it for a year or so and still learning what all it does.
