Are you SURE it's not maybe your ac compressor going out . Nah but out of curiosity, which oil filter are you using?

After a while the ticking quiets down a bit but the screeching gets worse.

Man.....wish I had some words of wisdom on that one..!! ...I had a ticking sound....no whistling....that ended up being a seized rocker arm that ate into the lobe of the cam on the passenger side.........

@Ratrace

Given roller followers and camshaft is new - for your 'screeching' noise, I would suggest removing the serpentine belt and cranking, just to eliminate all idlers / bearings in front except the harmonic balancer. Sometimes a belt tensioner (which is just pressed on its bearing) can move slightly and allow contact with front cover.

The Knock - was it there before the work was done. Noises from phasers 'radiate' through the block and cam very well for some reason. That sounds solider than any noise originating from lash adjusters / followers which sound more like an old mal-adjusted 'tappit'. The Cams can work slack in the camshaft thrust bearing and make a deep throaty knock (very similar to a rod), but much fainter.

I wonder if yours is could be from a 'failed' phaser or broken / sheered alignment pin located on front of the Cam leaving the phaser bolt loose / slopping around. That WOULD transmit all through block, even be well audible beneath, and tend to go away with elevated RPMs.

I think you have two separate issues.

ran it without belt and no change. all idlers are new. phasers are also new from ford. pins are aligned properly. cam, rollers, and adjusters are also new.
pulling the motor apart and check everything again......

Default wow you eliminated the tensioners -pulleys -ac comp

What kind of fan do you have . I think they went to a electric clutch on your year . Mine is the old oil thermo type but hey that's still driven by the belt you took off . So that shouldn't be the problem of screeching . new power steering and that is belt driven also .
You replaced the passenger cam, how did you certify the bearing cap tolerances . I have lifted mine but no replacement, everything went back exactly as they were and are custom fitted caps and torqued down to 8 foot pounds in sequence .
That's not the sound of a guide or chain eating alum timing cover . The reluctor on the crank for crank position is alum so it would quickly eat itself if it were rubbing . Look at your cam sensors to see if any rubbing there .
I ask my self why was the cam changed ,any bearing surface damage . When oil pump changed did the pu screen get fully cleaned and the oil pan also . Sorry I have more questions than answers . That sounds like steel on steel .
I am sure you changed chain tensioners those oil gaskets cause a lot of trouble . The old style ratcheting metal ones with no gaskets are better . If I were there I would be looking at a lot of things. That passenger valve cover has to come off . Maybe it threw a roller and not in the clear but you had this noise before also ???.
