Goodluck vano, let us know how it goes. Just a thought, have the fogs worked since you put the HID's in?

I had hoped the HID's would be a fix. My original thinking was that the High Beam element went out on my standard bulb, and it was trickin the system into thinkin it was on, when it wasnt. Never had high beams or fogs for the last month. I have high beams w/ this HID kit, but still no fogs. And as previously mentioned, when turnin the fogs on, it turns the HB on instead, and doesnt engage the Fogs at all. Before the HID, the fogs would not turn on, and also my low beams would go off, and no high beam engaged, yet the indicator in the cluster would lite up as if the HB came on, whether I did it with the HB switch, or tried turnin the fogs on.

I'm hopin this Bambi mod will fool the system and give me back what I want/had. I will defintely keep everyone posted on the outcome (this weekend sometime).

Thanks!!!

I also went and bought a relay, R202. This is under the hood on the driver side fender. Still, no fogs.

This has been going on for a month. I posted a thread when it originally happened (when I was using both regular bulbs in the headlamps and the fogs) but never got a reply, tons of views those. So after getting my Bi-Xenon headlamp kit (hoping this would fix it) my high beams came back but still no fogs, and the fog switch turns the high beams on, not the fogs. I'm baffled...
The fog relay is not a standard relay. The terminals are numbered 1, 2, 3, 5 instead of 30, 85, 86, 87, 87a.

EDIT: Try part number 4f1t-14b192-aa

What are you talking about? This has nothing to do with the topic at hand

Alright I know exactly what you are talking about Vano and I am going to do the Bambi mod tomorrow when I get home from bein on vacation. It had to do with the fact that with the HID's you only plugged into one side of the stock headlight input so there is not enough resistance or something technical like that. I bet your high beam indicator goes half way bring too don't it? Ill report back with my results tomorrow.
