flowmaster super 44

alright, i went with a flowmaster super 44 and i get it put on tomorrow...so here is my last questi on on the exhaust...i only have 1 super 44...do i dump it after the cab or just swap it for the stock muffler leaving the tailpipe in place? which will have the better sound, keeping in mind that i have the 4.6L V8

I put a 40 series on mine and dumped it at the clamp so if I ever sell my truck i can bolt the stock exhuast back on, plus it will sound better

I instaled a super 40 in place of the factory muffler, however after i drove on it a day it was to loud for me so i took it off and sold it and got a delta 50 series from flowmaster, and I love it way more. However now i may go to magna flo becuase i was told it performs better because the exhaust doesnt turn inside , it just goes strait through.

Mine is not loud at all! I am thinking i might just take the muffler out completely. But this is how i installed it wit the stock tailpipe.

My truck is an entry leval model the xl, so i have no carpeting, that might be why mine was so loud.

Just replace the factory with it, if you dump it, it will be annoyingly loud in the cab with lots of drone, a friend has his set up that way, I hate riding in his truck, can barely have a conversation.

mine hasn't gotten to loud either, really nice around 1800rpms then at 40mph to about 55 its very quiet. Wonder if i need plugs changed maybe.

I was underwelmed with magnaflows web page about fitment . I sent them an e-mail but they didn't respond. Is there a muffler replacement that is no welding or cutting? I just want to remove clamps muffler and reverse order with new muffler.
