it will prob have a good sound but be fairly quiet, thats a big muffler, the bigger the muffler the quieter it is

Yeah, will be very mellow... I have true dual flow 40s on my 5.4L and it is really mellow for me and I am near 30 years old...

There's nothing mellow about the 40 series??? If those are mellow to you then a 70 series would be like a factory muffler for you.

The 70 series is indeed a big muffler. The problem I have with it is it still suffers from cab drone. I have a buddy that installed one on his Tahoe and he hates it. He thought it was gonna be a lot more mellow then his F150 with a 50 series Flowmaster and honestly it's not. I have swapped my 50 Series out for the Hushpower line from Flowmaster. If you want performance over just flat out loudness, check into them. It's still Flowmaster and it's quality stuff.

The 2 40s have hardly any cab drone, but sounds nice outside. Decently loud when I get on it... The tips are angle out the back corners of the bumper. I need to install an X Pipe and possibly dump at the axle for a bit more noice... We'll see...

Flowmaster's website says the Hushpower only goes up to 2.5" I/O, isn't that a little small on a single exhaust on the 5.4, all the after market systems are 3-3.5".
