Default FINALLY detailed the truck

Heres some pics I took before he rain hits. Washed her and started tinting the tails, then finished clear coating them last night. They are pretty dark, but they came out great. Also got some better shots of the spray-in liner around the bottom.

Here are some shots with the lights on...its not dark outside, but you can still see there is plenty of light coming through. The first two are just running lights, the last one is with the brakes

no tire shine...makes the mud and dirt stick to them and turns them orange. This truck does see mud, so I dont use tire shine on it

Default Looks Great!

I have always liked the black F150s...just never liked washing them all the time, thats why I picked a color that shows less.

really? i am on gravel and mud 5 days a week for work (granted only about 2 miles total a day) and I never have anything turn orange. I use ArmorAll tire shine gel that is applied with a foam sponge. Biggest thing I do is after it "Dries" i go ahead and hit it with the garden hose to get rid of the excess. maybe thats what keeps me from turning orange. I just do it to keep it from slinging it on my freshly waxed fenders lol

I wash my car every week tho because my fiance works part time at a gas station right now while she is finishing school so I get to use them free! I put a good heavy coat on before winter and i washed the truck yesterday and they are still as black as when i did them, just not that shiny/wet look anymore. but definitely not orange!

Tails look good, but I think you need more clearcoat. They should have a glossy finish, from your pics they dont look to have any gloss/shine to them.
