Finally! All Lifted and Re-Geared! BDS, Yukon, Nitto, XD, SCT
Welp, I finally bit the bullet! After countless times of telling myself that I would never lift my truck due to its age, mileage, and because it's my daily driver, I finally broke down and decided to do it anyway. Besides, you're only young once right? So anyway I decided that if I was gunna do it, I was gunna do it right. After about a month of researching and asking around, I decided to go with the BDS 6" suspension lift. I just did the base kit for now with the strut spacers up front, and new blocks/shocks/leaf in the rear. Since my front end was in great shape, I decided to just go with the base kit for now, save some money, and then down the road if I want to I can upgrade the struts. Honestly it rides just as good as it did before with my leveling kit, if not better. I also had it re-geared with Yukon 4.10's, upgraded from the stock 3.55's. I know people will say you should go with 4.56's, but honestly these 4.10's feel fine to me, almost as if the truck was stock again. I hardly ever tow and with the addition of my new SCT Livewire tuner, the 4.10's should be just fine. I'm almost at 500 miles with the gears so it'll be going back in the shop next weekend for a gear oil change and re-torque of everything on the lift and I should be good to go. So far so good though, love the way it rides and how high it sits compared to before. I also threw on some brand new meats and wheels, 20x9 XD Hoss's wrapped in 35x12.5R20 Nitto Trail Grapplers! I love the combo and they look great with the truck. Really happy with my decision as far as wheels and tires go. The only thing is that the +18 offset sticks out a bit further than I'd like, 2 inches up front and about an inch and a half on the back. So needless to say, I have some Bushwacker extend-a-fender flares on order and they will be PTM'd and should be on within a couple weeks. I'm extremely picky about keeping her clean every week and I won't stand for my paint chipping along the sides. If anything, the flares will make it look like a Raptor even more I can't tell you how many times I get asked that on a weekly basis... "Is that your Raptor?!"
Anyway here are some pics, all shined up from the first real bath she's gotten this year (stupid snow and winter weather...) All I can say is I LOVE this truck and the way it looks now
And here's my build thread in case anyone is interested: click

Ehh... that would cost more than it's worth. I'm fine with the two tone. I'd rather use that money towards other things like service and maintenance. Or better yet, paying all of this off...
