Use thicker oil. Same thing happened to me and I used 10/30 but now have switched to 5/30. And some guys use diesel oil.

Have them replace the VCT housing/valve body gasket. It should come as part if the timing cover gasket set.

if i wanted to do the complete job the right way. can someone list the parts and part number beside these.

ROCK AUTO

Timing Chain Set
Part # 90391SB ($189.00 both chains, tesioners, guides, lower sprocket) Made by Cloves... Very nice quality

Front Crank Seal
Part # TCS46117 ($5.36) Fel-Pro

Cam Phasers
Part # 917250 ($139.19 each so X2) Comes with new bolt

example like Gasket,water pump, rocker...ect

Unless they have changed the part #'s are right there.

After Trouble shooting it was narrowed down to the VCT on the left side, It is running good now.

Great posts guys! I have the ticking myself along with missing/backfiring over 60mph under load otherwise it runs great! This will probably be my next project and hopefully to the missing as well! Good luck everyone!

Missing/backfiring under load at 60 is your spark plugs! Haha had that one as soon as I bought it.

Be ready for a headache or a pricey mech bill...cheapest I could find for a spark plug change was not cheap...mine cost 386$ would been cheaper had he not spent 8 hours digging spark plugs out of the head. FORD said $700 and that's off all plugs come out ok?¿
