Have seen this before 2 hoses on passenger side get swapped . one is vacuum to purge solenoid the other is filtered air to passenger valve cover . filtered air goes into passenger valve cover and is sucked out on drivers side valve cover . A mesh is in drivers valve cover - no pcv valve , ford wants you to buy a whole drivers side valve cover - absolute BS design .
What kind of oil pressure are you carrying? I'm getting real close to 100 at startup and have tried several different gauges. I see you're running a Melling 360 also.
Got another question guys im gonna be doing the timing on my 06 5.4 and figured while im in there might as well do the oil pump and pickup tube my question is can i put in a high performance high flow oil pump with the rest of the engine stock i plan on new cams stock but new long with roller followers and caps just for good measure

Yes. The melling m340hv or m360hv either will work. The 360 comes with 2 return springs so you can choose what pressure you want it to relieve at.

just so you're aware, the heads are align bored for the cams. so there arent really replaceable cam bearings.. I'd be a little concerned with replacing my cam without my head because of that. The head assemblies with cams and rockers are available from ford though.

Fordtemakuloco has a great add on video on the timing video that makes it easy without dropping pan.
I didn’t see a timing kit per say on the web site.
Does FPG have the timing parts listed as a kit or do we just add them to our cart from our own list?

yea i thought about that and then i figured cost new cams and followers are alittle over 500 where new complete heads r only 722 for the pair so why not spend and extra 200 and get new valves and all and i sat watched all of fordtechmakeulocos vids and for everything he did and the tools plus new serpentine everything new valve covers timing cover waterpump power steering pump everthing accept crank pistons rings and intake i can get and do my self for alittle under 3k

I personally would not use any of the kits on rock auto except for perhaps the 2 most expensive melling ones. Those two kits appear to have ford phasers with the ford part number ground off of the front. All the others have phasers of unknown quality. You could put together a the parts from a list for not too much more than that from one of the online ford dealers.
