Unhappy Farewell for now...traded the 04 in on Saturday

Well... The color caught my eye and drew me into the dealership. I decided I would look at it and work some numbers to talk myself out of even thinking about this truck but, well that obviously didn't work lol. I am still shocked I went through with it since I have always preferred Ford over the years. One of the main reasons I did it was due to the fact that I just couldn't get into a comparable F-150 for the price. I'll be back to Ford with the next truck, hopefully a F-250 by then but for now, this will do. Out with the old 2004 F-150 with 122,000 miles...

And in with the new(er) 2014 Ram 1500 with 13,000 miles, Rough Country 4" lift, Bushwackers, 20" XDs, Dick Cepek 35s, and Corsa True Duals. That 5.7 Hemi with the 8 speed Auto gets this truck movin I will say. Still can't really believe I went to the dark side...

That is a good looking truck even if it doesn't have a blue oval on it.

Thanks for all of the kind words everyone. tjm623, it does have a lot done to already which is a huge plus for me since I am on a tight budget lol. Eventually I would like to purchase black projectors and black LED tails to bring the blue and black together. Also so other minor purchases such as window vent visors and weather tech floor mats. Other than that, the thing has just about everything I want (I say this now lol).

Well I put about 100 miles on it so far and on the highway I am 16-18 mpgs. Now I haven't been driving like grandpa since I just got it. All in all I don't think its bad considering the lift and tires.

Sweet truck, you'll love it. The ford 6spd is a great tranny, but IMO nothing compares to the hemi/8spd right now
