Fan speed problem

Default Fan speed problem

I have a 08 an my fan speed switch only works in 3 of the 4 positions think it would be the switch or something else?

Mine does the same thing. Ill be watching to see if there is an answer to this.

pull the switch and check voltage on it..

If everything is Okay at the switch, get a resistor pack and change it, that should cure the issue if it isn't the switch.

Ok cool I'm kinda figuring it would be the switch but who knows I'll let ya know when I check it out tomorrow thanks for the help!

This is a common problem. It is the resistor for the blower, located behind the glove box

Thanks jetpuck now I know what and where to look as well gonna try and tackle it out tomorrow looks really simple. I knew it wasn't my blower cus that works fine and at first I thought maybe the switch would be bad but iv never seen that switch go bad.

This is a common problem. It is the resistor for the blower, located behind the glove box. I found mine on eBayfor 22 dollars. Took 15 minutes to change and now all my fan speeds work.
