Default Factory subwoofer wiring harness

Was wondering if you could install an aftermarket subwoofer and amp using the factory wiring harness?

Default Yes and No

It's very possible to hook up an after market sub and amp. All you would do is unhook the wires, mount the new equipment, and hook them back up (with the battery disconnected of course). The problem will be what you get out of the factory system. The wire gauge is probably too small for what you're going to try to push, so you'll end up frying the wires. It's best just to run new lower gauge wires, meaning they'll be thicker and able to handle more load.

I'm planning on just running a single 10" kicker comp with a 350 watt amp. Would that be to big of a load for those wires?

Yes the factory wiring will be too small. You should probably use around and 8ga power wire and the same for the ground.
