Default Factory Radio Display

When using satellite radio on a factory head unit is there a way to make the display scroll the channel, artist, and song info or do you have to press the button each time?

To my knowledge you have to keep hitting the button.

I guess you just have to remember how old these trucks are. That was cutting edge technology at one time. It's like comparing a flip phone to a smartphone.

Come now.... I've had a smartphone for more than 10 years. My 02 would scroll the RDS info across the screen so Ford was clearly capable of having a radio made that can scroll channel, song, and artist info. All the info is there. Just got word that my Android radio will be here in a week so I'll have my Google Play Music back in a week or so.

Think about that now. 10 years ago a Blackberry was top of the line. The iPhone first appeared in June of 07. I won't contest the other items as you're most likely correct on those points.

I dunno about satellite, but regular RDS data for FM stations scrolls on mine.
