I ended up mounting the amplifier under the driver's side seat. the amp is so small that it does not take up much space. The aftermarket amp really kicks the OEM sub! Because you are wiring a dual voice coil subwoofer in parallel, the load impedence is 2 ohms, which draws 230 watts RMS from the amp. Much more than the factory amp!
