Nah I haven't looked too much anymore. I went to a salvage yard to get the clip I needed for the sill plate out of an 06 4x4 Scab F150 and did a little searching around on it and never found the plug in the dash or under the rubber flooring. My truck is absolutely mint so I don't want to tear the interior apart for nothing. I might rip the radio out this weekend and see if the plug is at least behind the dash.

The audiophile was available in supercabs. As someone who has replaced an audiophile system with aftermarket, I highly recommend going aftermarket.

Bucko I know that this post was made almost 2 years ago but I wanted to post my findings. I went to the local salvage yard today in search of a sub wiring harness. As I'm 99% sure my truck has the front harness but not the rear. I checked their one and only 04-08 Super cab and came up empty handed.

It just so happened that there was a cheapo standard cab 04-08 XL sitting next to it that was stripped of all the interior but the flooring and dash shell. A quick glance in the radio compartment showed the subwoofer plug. I was sure there wouldn't be the rear part of the harness but decided to pull up the vinyl flooring anyways. Much to my surprise there was a subwoofer wiring harness laying on the floorboards.

I peeled as much of the harness out as I could. I tried to get the terminals out of the kick panel plug so I could make a factory type install into my truck but no luck. After seeing this XL standard cab with the rear plug I'm definitely going to examine my FX4 somemore in search of the plug.

Ok i have a 2008 Lariat crew cab f150 and CANNOT find the harness, pulled the carpet out under back seat and nothing...I can see where it splits off from the drivers side side panel but it isnt on the passenger side...i can reach my hands through the center arm rest and dont feel any wires going through so its somewhere behind the back rest of the drivers side. I hate to take the entire back seat out to find it...any suggestions anybody??

The harness would be on the drivers side not the pass. side.

i have mark lt with the sub, it sounded really clear and nice, but wasnt quite enough for me, mind u my previous truck was a ford expedition and had a complete alpine type x system, with two 12s, so its hard to compare, bassworks has a box that fits 2 10 inch subs and it fits really nice under the rear seat, and there really cheap, so my stock sub is hanging in the garage as decoration now and the truck thumps really nice,

i have a question, on my 07 fx4 screw im going to be installing an aftermarket sub/amp. could i find this "wiring harnes" and incorporate with my install and not use a line-output converter?

also will this make my sub be on its own channel instead of the rear channel?

No, without the audiophile head, there is no signal on those lines.

I just purchased a OEM subwoofer for my 08 F150 Super Crew but I plan on using a aftermarket amp with mt aftermarket Nav radio.
Amazon Amazon
It should screw right in the place of the OEM amp

Like many of you on here I also heard the audiophile in my friends truck and decided that I wanted to switch to that system. I was lucky enough to find the Head unit, all the speakers and subwoofer and amp all in one auction on ebay. I had checked early on my 05 lariat supercrew and discovered I didn't have any of the harness up to the head unit or in the back where the sub plugs in. I went to a local salvage yard and found an 06 supercrew that had the audiophile system and I took the entire floor harness out of the the truck for $52.00 I then proceeded to separate the subwoofer wires out of the rest of the harness. I matched up the pins in the correct corresponding factory plugin spots in junction box behind the drivers side kick panel. The only wire that doesn't run down the drivers side of the truck is the power wire which is purple and blue and the ground which there is a factory spot on the back wall behind the rear seat that the ground bolts to. The power wire runs across the floor to the passenger side and then just pop the wire in to the factory plug on the fuse plate. Fuse number 38 and you have your power. Mine sounds great and the best part is you would never know it was factory installed unless you looked at the window sticker. If you have questions let me know.
