okay im new to the site my name is manny have a 06 ford f150 xlt with 5.4l engine so was washing the truck yesterday lot of mud on it and was cleaning engine compartment and i think i got water on alternator let air dry over night and when i tried starting it this morning and started just clicking and needle guages started fluttering and wouldnt start i can here the starter clicking and turning over but the looks like it starts shorting any wayof troubleshooting alternator with ohm meter
