04 F150

Looking for some opinions or answers.... Ok well my dad is looking at buying a 04 lariat F250 6.0 130,000 miles guy is asking 12K for it, We are new to the 6.0s but have 3 7.3s

1. Is the 6.0 really that bad of an engine? Ive herd some bad things about them What are some pros and cons?

2. Is the price high or a good deal?

How many miles and the 6.0 is a great motor once u work all the bugs out of It that's why it's good to get them with some miles on it

It has 130K miles on it it has a clean body... What all needs to be fixed so it can be a solid motor?

They mostly have problems with injectors turbos and egr my uncle has one and has no problems at all but he had about 120 thousand miles on it

Do not buy a 6.0 they are bad about blowing head bolts And head gaskets trust me don't do it

I thought I read Ford recently had some class action lawsuit settlement with the 6.0. Really too bad about these trucks and that's why they're so cheap in the used market. I've seen some damn nice 06 models but I'm scared to take the plunge.
