Default Locking the diffs

Hey guys, I have been searching on here trying to source out the best route to go for my 2006 f150 5.4l which I believe is 9 1/4"??

I am trying to figure out the best way to go about locking the rear diff and haven't gotten very far. I would like to see a thread that everyone can use to clarify this.

So far I know there are three options... Eaton e locker $$$$ arb air locker$$$ and the Detroit which is still fairly expensive.

One of my wonders is about the fx4. Will the e locker work? I am assuming the diff sizes in the 5.4L from 04 - 08 would be the same? I think if this would be compatible that would be a awesome route for everyone and possibly quite affordable

Anyways any info will be greatly appreciated

Cheers

Axle under your truck is a 9 3/4 not 1/4 if that helps your search.
