F150 Diesel
Im considering converting my f150 to diesel or putting a 6.0 or 6.7, but the larger engine would require a lot of cutting. anyone heard of this being done or have suggestions where to start?

4bt or 6bt cummins is a mechanically injected carbed deisel that are very popular not exactly with f150 but spendy!

Entirely to much labor, time, and money to make it worthwhile. I've seen tons of threads like this but nobody has ever actually done it to my knowledge.

You'd be a lot better off putting a whipple on your stock engine..... A 6.0l-6.4l or 6.7l will weigh down the front of your truck too much..... PD blower will give near the same tq without the weight and strain on your drivetrain.

A big v8 diesel would be way to heavy for our front suspension and steering components, you would have to get like specialty snow plow coil springs, and the best struts, then you would be replacing tie rods like it's going out of style..

Incredible amount of time, effort, and money with not much gain. Better off just buying a diesel 3/4 ton. With that being said, it'll be very unique, and the simplest and cheapest swap would be cummins probably.
