F-150 Street Boss confusion
From the factory we bought a 2005 F-150 Street Boss. They said it comes with the grille, 20" rims, and chip....sounds pretty sketchy now that the truck has been handed down to me.
Does anyone know what the Street Boss actually entitles?
Is it considered Roush or SVT?

In looking at the 2005 sales document that I have (describes features and models of the 2005 F150 line up), it mentions nothing of a "street boss" model.
Could this be something that the dealer did? Perhaps they sent some F150's out to be customized by an outside firm, then sold them as this model you mention?
I have a 2005 STX, which is why I have copies of the factory documentation. I see nothing of a "street boss" from Ford.
Then again, I've been corrected many times before. Lets see if anyone else knows of this.

there is no factory model that is badged the "street boss" 1st off if it is chipped then the factory warranty is void even if the manufacturing company of the chip says different. the ford dealership it was installed at may choose to warranty it but Ford will not. a lot of dealerships actually have vehicles modified either in house or by a third party to make them more appealing to consumers. roush is actually a third party that modifies for ford. svt is the only name ford uses for modified vehicles.

Sounds like the Demon editions a local Dodge dealer was doing a while back. They would take a new or used vehicle and accessorize it and sell it as a Demon edition. They even had a lowrider airbagged GMC pickup on the lot like that.
