Exhaust Question
 
i have a new 2008 f150 supercrew and i need a cheap way to make my exhaust sound like an aftermarket one. i have a 5 inch rbp tip if that makes a difference. i dont want just loud a deep grumbling sound is what i am going for. any advice would be helpful.....thanks

Straight pipe it. It will be cheap, loud, deep, and grumbly.

^ i agree i have mine dualled with no mufflers and 2 5" x 18" tips welded up under it and its a deep toned grumbly crakling thing when you get it goin

Drill holes in your exhaust. Use a 5/8 drill bit and make the thing look like swiss cheese. That should make you as cool as the mullet wearing dude in his 81 Trans Am with blown glass packs. Better yet just use a torch and cut it off. Who needs it, not like anyone in the trailer park sleeps at night.

Then he would have more power and better fuel economy..... now who would want that? :thumbsup:

If you straight piped it you would more than likely be out of compliance with noise laws.

Take it to a local muffler shop, have them throw a flowmaster on it, dont change the piping, just the muffler...Probably cost ya $100

what noise laws and who cares a straight piped 5.4 isnt very loud anyways
