The exciting life of Thunder!
Well, here it is! A thread all my own that I can brag about Thunder and tell her story! I LOVE taking pics of my truck, and I hope you'll enjoy her like I do!
I bought Thunder right before Thanksgiving of 2008 when she had 108k miles. Now, 4yrs later, she's at 131k miles and I'm still loving every bit! We've been through a lot together, and I hope to have lots more good memories with her! She's definitely my partner for life!
Apparently, I cant edit picture titles, so I'll describe them this way...
1. Was shopping around for a truck, when I came across this awesome looking Flareside F150! Yes, this is just a dealer photo of my truck!...lol.
2. Had to bring Thunder right home. I fell in love!
3. Coming back from my 2010 deployment, only to have Thunder's battery die at the Navy Exchange parking lot in Norfolk, VA. <Sigh>
4. Thunder's 5.4L 3V Triton V8 Engine!
5. Thunder's engine got a new look goin with the K&N Intake!
6. Good side pic!
7. Installed new Black Carbon Fiber Look Headlights!
8. Rear angle showing the new Tail Lights and Fx4 stickers!
9. Closer view of stickers and tail lights.
10. Installed new Brush Guard!
11. Took Thunder out for a lil off-roading at Grimes Point, NV! Time to act like a REAL truck!
12. Oh yea. Had some fun while I was at GP!
13. First bath after the GP trip, about 4 days later...lol.
14. Thunder leaving me again after the Throttle Body and Accelerator Pedal Assembly died! NOOOO!!!
15. Thunder Jr. keeping my company.... and spare change!
16. Installed new ACCEL 140033 Ignition Coils (The bright Yellow thingies).
17. My Poweraid Throttle Body Spacer I just got in!
18. Just installed the new TB Spacer. Felt a difference in throttle response and sound immediately!
19. Old vs New Ignition Coils.

2. Dual 3" Pipes comin out the back!
3. Lots of decorating on Thunder's tailgate, haha!
4. Woke up to this during the 2011-2012 winter here in Fallon, NV.

1. Brand new Motorcraft SP-515 spark plugs going inside of Thunder!
2. Hoping I'm successful at replacing all 8 plugs without breaking any...
3. 2 of the old Spark Plugs I took out. WOW! And I broke absolutely NONE in the proccess, <phew!>
