Hey guys, got an 2006 F150 5.4 3v 4x4. Engine went out completely at start up makes very loud knocking sound has a little over 300xxx so im thinking maybe time for a new or reman engine, trouble is im not quite sure what to replace it with ive heard theres a couple of engines out there where they have fixed the cam phasers issue and the spark plug issue also wondering if maybe its time to sell and if so what is the value of it (ball Park) interior is 7/10, transmission was replaced with new maybe 40xxx on it trucks been sitting for maybe a year tires are 6/10,paints good. only defect driver window doesn't roll down. got it for a good price reason i replaced transmisson for new but now wondering if worth keeping. dont really ever hitch anything or ever use the 4 wheel drive mostly was a daily driver but its always good to have a truck around. thanks for reading and looking forward for your input.
