So day 3 ....
Engine ruins super quiet:-) .... however , still have the same Damn problem.....this truck is turning into a headache.
So here's what else we have done today..
Got new plugs just in case . Changed the boots on the coil packs, replaced one coil pack because it looked cracked, still no luck. It's not throwing out any codes at all but it runs like crap. At low RpMs it just hesitates like crazy. But if I gun it at about 75-80 it picks up no problem.
Let's see what else we can try tomorrow.
Thinking about looking into the catalytic converters or vct and FPDM . Some comments or some advice would help. Thanks

Well, definitely check the fpdm, they usually are visibility corroded. I wouldn't think the cats, they would most likely give you problems at higher rpms due to restricted flow.

Cats would most definitely throw a code. I too would check the FPDM.

So it's been a couple days now and let me tell you, I've never had to go through so much to find out what was wrong with my truck. Luckily my buddy works at a shop where they let him order ton's of parts and whatever didn't work was able to return. W we tried pkugs, CP's, boots , compression test , fuel pump (the only thing I got stuck with so now I'm gonna try and sell my used OEM one) , cats , cam phasers , and it was none of the above. Turns out the ECU was bad. Picked one up from the junk yard and had it reprogrammed and my truck is running like a champ! No more sputtering, shaking , feeling gutless!!!
Who would have thought. How often do these go bad? Now I'm wondering if my hypertech messed it up. I'm scarred to reprogram this one with my hypertech. All in all I appreciate everyone's help with this

All right brother, good to see things worked out for you. I'm curious as to what would have made your ECU go bad though. Hopefully you can also find a cause so that you don't go through this s**t again.
