Engine Swap
I was wondering if anyone has ever swapped out the 4.6L from a F150 4x4, for another 4.6L from a Roush Mustang. That is a stage 2. My truck is a 2004 and the motor is out of a 05-09 Mustang. Any help with this matter would definitely be appreciated.

The 4.6 out of the mustang has the variable valve timing system and the motor in your truck doesn’t not. If you’re looking for a direct swap, the short answer is no, it won’t work. If you’ve got a lot of time, money, and patience then I’m sure anything is possible.
