today my check engine light came on and i found out my transmission wont go past i believe its 2nd gear it will run at about 40mph at 4500 rpms and i dont dare push it any farther also taking off from stop signs theres less power than there used to be and a lot less torque any help is appriciated, thanks

 

I had something similar happen, I found a blown fuse for a couple transmission sensors. It has not happened again since but fixing the fuse did the trick for now.
