Default electrical help! ac pressure switch

So I'm having a problem with fuse 14 blowing and cant seem to find the culprit. So my question is can I put straight 12v power to the ac pressure switch to make the ac at least work? I know that the light blue with pink stripe is the power to it. Just want to know if i can or if im going to mess something up. Thanks in advance

If you're blowing a fuse there is a reason for it. Too many amps are being drawn on the circuit. You could bypass the fuse, but it would be a matter of time before something else failed. This could easily result in a fire. You need to find out what is causing your fuse to blow. Trace wires, check connections, etc.

Yeah i know. Just hot and humid here and would really love the ac to work. It is my work truck and just really busy and havent had the time to track and wires down. I have unplugged every thing on that circuit but still blows

I had trouble with mine once and took it to a place that charged 50 bucks for an AC checkup. It had a fuse or something similar and they charged me 50 bucks to go through it and check the freon an all. Well worth it in my opinion.

Thats no help to me. I know it works its that fuse 14 keeps blowing and that has the pressure switch on it. So it will not work until i figure out why 14 keeps blowing. I was wanting to know if i could hard wire the pressure switch or if that would jack something up with the ac system.

Maybe just change out the switch as it may have resistance values that blow the fuse. Check your resistance in the circuit. End all is the clutch is bad.

Do not by pass the safety pressure switch you will explode. It is possible you have too much Freon in the system ?

No there is not to much freon as the dealer put it in last summer for me and its been fine. Fuse 14 keeps poppin and i think it may have some thing to do with my cruise control. I had found a broken wire in my drive door that was grounding out and blowing 14 but i fixed that and was good for about a month then it popped again one day. So i put in a new fuse and it worked for about an hour and popped when i went to up my cruise with the set button. Now it blows instantly when i turn the key on. Kinda stumped at this point. I know its a wire somewhere just need the time to try to find it.

U have a ton of stuff running off that fuse. Aux relay box 1, DT running lamps, ABS control module, Reversing lamps switch, DTR sensor and EMTC module + the AC pressure switch. I would test each. U have a circuit that gradually heats up and blows the fuse thru resistance. It may be a damaged bulb socket ( corrosion ) ? Maybe even cleaning the ground connection ? One of the hardest to find. maybe individual disconnect of each circuit one at a time will help.
