Default Next thing on my list!

I've been looking at CAI's and there's alot of brands to choose from. I was just wondering if someone could suggest one, im not looking for power increase, my main focus is trying to get my mpg up some. Thanks!

General consensus is CAI really doesn't help with MPGs. Gotts seems to be the "CAI" of choice and is cheap.search for it on here. Less than $12.

Do the gotts mod and save your money to get a tuner. The gotts will give you the same performance as a cai and costs about $10. A tuner will give you some more mpg and more power.

I installed an AIRAID same as a Jack Roush but re-badged and cheaper.

Which one would be the best to do, the gotts mod or an intake?

Gotts is alot cheaper and has the same outcome. Also, the cold air intake can cause the truck to run lean, and the gotts will not.

The second link is a part of the first link, at the top of the 2004-2008 forum.

Good mod. Not as noisy. Mine cost $4.99 + tax. Had an old piece of pvc at home. Can not buy a cai for that price.
