Bad sputtering
I have a 4.6 2005 F-150. 150,000 miles. I am going to be straight up...I floored the out of it from a stop light. Maybe 10 secs later it started sputtering. I let off the gas it feels fine. Perfect idle when in park, but rough idle when sitting at a stoplight. When I'm driving and it kicks down a gear it appears to be normal (No sputtering.) Starts up fine.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Well at least yer honest
Any codes / CEL's ( including pending codes )? How about maintenance history? Plugs, fuel filter, MAF & TB cleaning, front O2's, etc, etc.
Nor much to go one, I'm afraid without more data.
Hope yer not trying any 'wrenches in a can' solutions ( except perhaps Techron). Those will only make it worse.

I haven't tried anything as of yet. I didn't want to run the risk, with out asking on here, in case there were any fixes anyone could think of, before I take it to get it fixed or something.

No codes. There is a check engine light...well...because I got the cats taken off. And it's been like for maybe 10,000 mi with no problem. Only maintenance history is oil changes every 3,000.

There still may be stored pending codes that only a higher-end scanner can pull ( or Torque Pro).
Additionally - every item I listed is past-due for service. Every one. And more I didn't cover.
You need to start maintaining yer truck properly. How else will folks be able to help you?

Partial maintenance list. Some may not apply to you, but will give you an idea of the scope yer neglecting:
