Default Edge performance level

Just got my Evo in the mail today and was wondering what level most of you guys are running on yours? I was thinking the level 2 but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask first. What kind of MPG'S are you guys getting on these levels?

Thanks.

I don't have one (yet) for my 2009, but what does the manual say?

In order for your comparisons to have any value, what year, engine, gears, tires/rims, cab, etc. is your truck? I assume it's an FX4.

What performance mods do you have?

Bone stock 2004 fx4. Nothing has been changed except for a levelling kit. Was mostly just looking for a boost in gas milage with this tuner and a bit better throttle response.

I have run level 3 since the day I got mine. I am getting around 15mpg in the city and around 20 mpg's on the highway. Of course my tires are a lot larger and wider.

I am running level 2. The manual states on level 3, you should run 91+ octane. I have run level 3 with the higher octane and it definately had more power but I didnt see an increase in mpg's to make up for the higher cost of gas. So if your looking for strictly better gas milage, I would recommend level 2. I have been averaging 14-15 mpg's city/highway but then again i'm running 37" tires and 4.88 gears! Just my .02!

So you use 91/93 octane all the time? Are the MPGs you list calculated or computer?

Did you correct your speedo to account for the taller tires?

I think you will be happy with the level 2. As I stated before, thats what i'm running and think I get decent mpg's, especially for the cold morning warm ups and the winter additives in the gas that kill mpg's.

Thanks! (just trying to gather some real data from Edge/Gryphon users)

Any idea of the calculated MPG before the Edge?
