December 2009 TOTM!
I have average MPG on right now. I've tried going slow and grandpa like. I still see like 14ish mpg. I filled my tank up fully, went offroading 100 miles. It showed like 13ish mpg. I get on the interstate that's 75mph, and really hard on the gas, it jumped to 15.8mpg. Then hit freeway which is 65mph, it bumped to 16.0 mpg?!? WTF. I've never seen that before lol. And I was stomping on it... weird. I'm changing it so I don't watch it. Best I saw was 15.9mpg doing 65mph at like 1600rpms for like 30 miles..

Yea, I'm changing it. I'll just watch my gas gauge. If I have over 200 at half a tank I'm doing good lol.

lol, i think you misunderstood me. i have a gyphon, so i know how its mounted.
you have to adj your tire size in the edge settings so it recalibrates your PCM to match the actual speed the wheels are moving. the gauge cluster and the edge should be showing the same speed if calibrated correctly.

I'm running coolant temp,instant mpg,rpm's and speed.
Someone mentioned that the gryphon and truck speedo's were different.I dont see how that is possable since ALL the gyrphons readings are coming from the trucks ECM.NOW..if you have a GPS that is independent of the trucks computer and can vary.Mind did until I updated the tire size in the gryphon. Now there the same. But EVERYTHING on the gryphon OR edge display is the SAME as whats in the trucks computer. If you were to hook up a OBDII monitor you would see the same readings.Thats why the edge and gryphon are pluged into your diagnostic connector. All it does is read the computer and show it to you in a user freindly reading.
