Only 4WD high not working??
Hey guys/gals...I have an 07 FX4 super crew that just today decided it didn't want to shift into 4wd high. Low works perfectly. It's under warranty but with the holidays I won't be able to get it in until next week so I'm looking for suggestions since mother nature is dumping a bunch of white stuff on us at the moment
I've read about the IWE solenoid going bad due to water breaching it. Mine does have the "shield" so not sure if that's the issue.
Also read about the transfer case shift motor being "frozen" due to inactivity but since it engages into 4wd low just fine I'm guessing that is not the issue either.
All fuses are fine as well.
Any suggestions?

I just purchased an '07 FX4 and am having the same problem. 4wd Low engages and the indicator light comes on, but when in 4wd High, the indicator light does not come on. Both lights illuminate when first turning the key on. Appreciate any help.

I am having the exact same problem in my '06 Lariat Supercrew not going into 4wd high. And my windows won't roll down unless the door is open, but the sunroof and back sliding glass work fine...
I have no clue whats wrong with either of these.

I just talked to the local Ford dealer and he said it sounds like the t-case shifter motor is shot. Can this be true since it does engage into 4WD low? Or are they operated separate from one another?
He also said if it is the transfer case shift motor that it would not be covered under the powertrain warranty. Any truth to this?
TIA
