Default Edge Evo and TC lockout

Ok, so i just bought an Edge Evolution and i've been playing with it a bit. I'd like to understand more about the TC unlock values. I understand most of how the TC works, but as far as the values and how these values, if changed can benefit for my use. I do not do any towing, but i do sometimes put weight in the back of my truck.

P.S. i have read stickys on this, but have not seen a good explaination.

here is some discussion about it:
http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/96...g-an-edge.html

but if you have just an edge, you should try to stick to the programs there (1 when no towing, 1 towing, 2 racing) and if you want to do a change, it has to be small.

if you want to do more aggresive changes, it is suggested to contact PHP, upgrade it to a griphon and have a custom tune for your truck.

I was hoping to not have to pay anymore money then i already have... especially since everything is stock in my truck except for leveling kit and bigger tires.. I just want to do mild changes, i don't really care for a ton of performance, just a little more.. But the TC lockout interests me, seeing how i've been seeing if i'm not towing i can benefit mileage wise..
