Hello, I am currently using the level 1 setting and I've already seen a slight improvement. I wasn't expecting much from this but I'm happy so far. I think I will jump to a level 2 after a week or 2. Don't really care about mpg, but I've seen it get up to 16 on the freeway.

No I set it back to stock before I unplugged it.

doing that now requires a completed drive cycle like they told you.. if you read your DTC's you will see a P1000 code.. when that goes away, your drive cycle is complete.

/\ x2... unless you have different tires than stock and you've adjusted the tire size, level 1 won't change from my understanding. You have to adjust your settings.

I know this thread is super old, but would like to continue it if anyone is interested. I just got a Gryphon on my 2004 4.6L and I'm interested in learning more as always besides just slapping on the tunes PHP made me.
I want to do a little tweaking. My 3 tunes now are: 87 Performance, 91 Performance, and Transmission only.
Before I got my custom tunes from them I ran transmission only and immediately felt a difference. I was so tired of the laggy indecisive shifting, all that changed and it was good.
I then got my custom tunes and loaded up the 87 tune. They fixed it where I don't get codes P420 and 430 due to true dual exhaust and added my tire size for the correct speedometer reading for the first time in 4years

I did notice that the transmission settings felt different on the 87 tune compared to the stock edge transmission only tune. They turned it down if anything under normal acceleration, still better than stock much better but didn't feel as peppy as the tranny only.

JCP, thank you for all the info and I might look into the book. I know the tunes for sure helped my truck but when I compare the difference of their 87 Performance tune and transmission only I kind of see what you are saying, not much gain in an 87 tune engine wise. Transmission is 50% of the problem at least in mine.
I will be trying the 91 tune soon, but as soon as I got all this going gas jumped from 2.40 to over $3!!
Anyways, reading everyones stuff I feel like I should have just got the 93 tune instead of 91 but depending on where you go around here in KY, some sell 91 some 93. Would there be ANY disadvantages of running 93 with a 91 tune? I know for sure not to run lower fuel with a high octane tune like 91 with an 87 tune, but how bout 93 with 91 tune?

Im hoping all you still get notifications on this, I know its old.

my question is I have the Edge Evo EEF2100 on a 2002 f150 5.4, I also run a K&N CAI. Im trying to find is there a way I can tweek my Evo to accommodate for my K&N CAI? do you have this setup? Im trying to find and keep a tune for better MPG.

Thanks in advance if I get an answer

right now I have 3.55 gears 7in lift 35' tires. currently I get about 13-14 mpg seeing if I can get a bit better than that :/
