Mine fits tight without even the whole assembly process. Just popped it up there and haven't touched it since. The little tab in the front is on top of the dash still but it sits solid.

Mine works great! Didn't need to even use the little tab w/ velcro they provided.

Plastic has memory built into it. Try to take a hair dryer and heat it up. I used to do that with bumper covers and it works to some degree.

Don't mean to hijack, but how would you guys go about painting the pod to match the dash? I have the darker grey dash, not like what is pictured above. Anyone ever done this? Any advice on color matching?

where the right side of yours fits into the crack between the two pieces of dash there isn't enough of a crack in mine to get it to drop

It takes a little force to get it in there. I had one on my single cab fx4 for a long time

You should of had a choice when you bought it of Pod color...you can always paint it.
