Default Edge Evo for my 2006 FX4?? Need advice

I have a 2006 Fx4 and have put new 295/70/18 tires which is almost a 35" tire. I want to buy an edge evo programmer to re-calibrate the speedo issue that I have now. My truck is stock and I will not be doing any mods to it. I also pull a trailer with my ATV from Florida to Georgia a few times a year when I go hunting. Will the programmer be something worth having especially with the tires I have? I have heard programmers frying the transmissions and just want to get some good advice if I should buy one. Thanks in advance for the help!!

The tires are great and quiet for a mud tire. I do have a leveling kit and there is no rubbing at all even at full lock... Now if i can get feedback about the edge I will be set....

Edge will correct the speedo which will correct the trans shift points too so your trans will be happier.

In economy mode you should see better mpgs. Plus you can monitor your trans temp while towing.

Its next on my list after i fix the important stuff. Brakes,, injectors, ect.

My edge evo did not correct my speedo but it did make my shifts more crisp. It also holds the gears longer so the tranny isn't working as much when towing. Over all it is a great product that has made my truck fun to drive again.

You have to pick custom when setting your level and put in your tire size in mm.
