Whats the recall? unless its something engine/drivetrain i wouldnt worry about it. Even then its just kind of iffy if they care. When i took my truck in for the injector warranty the service manager said he has seen them refuse warranty work before but usually only on diesels. not sure about recall service. wouldnt hurt to just be on the safe side.

well, in several other threads, most people that replied agree that is a good idea to remove it. some stuff in your truck, like injectors and cats, have like 100,000 mile warranty and things like the evo could void that. it wont take long, just put it back to level 0, and remove the whole thing.

Take it off. Return it to stock. Is it worth any hassle you might get from the dealer?

If your truck is still in warranty then I would say yeah unless it was like the Airbag recall or something. If not then I wouldn't worry about it

yea its just the airbag recall. But ive seen other members say that sometimes the dealer likes to connect the truck to the computer to update it or something. guess it wouldn't hurt to take it off for a while.

Well on the off chance that they would reflash the PCM for some reason then you would want it returned to stock. I forgot to recommend that yeah I would always return it to stock. But for something like Air Bag it's not worth the effort to remove all physical traces that it was there.

So just make sure it's stock when you hand them the keys.
