Default Edge CS

I have spent the last week doing research on the Edge Evo on the site. Was sure that is what I wanted. So a friend of mine was heading to the city today and he was going to pick one up for me. I guess you cant get the Edge Evo that I was doing all this research about. Now its the Edge CS or CTS. Long story short, I told him to get me the CS because the store is 5 hours away and had my heart set on this tuner. Is there much difference in the CS than the normal Edge? I guess I am going to start research on something I already own now.lol

i believe the only diffrence is the looks. The cs is a lot more fancy in the design, but i believe the tunes are the same. Post some pics up when you get it. i dont think ive seen one installed.

I just got an evo two weeks ago. Great product, the CS and CTS have touch screen features but were a lot more $ that I didnt want to spend at the time. Hope they dont discontinue the Evolution to boost sales of their other products.

Just the cts has the touchscreen : cs (color screen) cts (color touch screen). Does anyone know the size of them? and do they have a mounting pod like the evo.

Here are a pic of mine w/ a dash pod. I love this unit I have had it for about 6 months now. There is no difference between the two, Edge actually sell a conversion kit to were the current evo owners can convert over to a CS. So the CS is just a nicer looking Evo and more user friendly! Overall a good unit!

I just bought my EVO, one place that I tried did not have any and had quit taking orders for them, converting over to the CS/CTS units. I talked to Edge and the tech said they were phasing them out so if you want one you had better get it soon. For our F150s the CS is over $100 dollars more and you have to spend almost $50 for the optional pod that is standard with the EVO.

Just curious on how these truck tuners interface: Do you just leave it plugged into the OBD-II port and it remembers your settings? Does the machine basically act like a fancy gauge when your not using it, then when you need to tweak the tune you just switch modes or what?

Where did you get the pod? When I asked about the pod on the phone with the guy, he told me that all pods were standard and a little trimming was required to fit the cs. Told me that it comes with a suction cup window thingy.
Well I am glad that I got the cs if they are phasing out the evo. Not that I care about having latest thing but I hate to buy something that they stop making a month later. I have done that 2 many times in my life.
