It is a must to have it alignment! Just about anytime you mess with the front end it will be a good idea to throw it on the alignment rack. Lifting the front end requires an alignment.

Just get some cheap steel or aluminum spacer to the size desired. Spending much over $65 on a simple piece of machined aluminum for this is not worth it. No one ever sees it, so "bling" factor is irrelevant and there is not a wearable part on them, so just as long as you install them properly, there is not going to be an issue. That being said, I highly advise against plastic. Plastic has no business in spacer applications like this.

An alignment check post install is recommended I believe.
That makes me feel way better about looking into these. Is install pretty self explanitory? Ive installed break pads and changed a few tires. Nothing more beyond the tires. (Suspention wise)

Check out YouTube for an instructional video they can walk you right through it. Brakes was as far as I had ever got into my truck too. It is a slightly more involved than that but if you have the tools you can do it

How crucial is the alinment after a level? Im going on a trip and dont want to fork up the cash to align it til I get back! But I have the level kit.

Could I drive with out too much worry or is that a stupid thought?

i have done it...and tore up my tires. If there is any way you could avoid driving until you get the alignment...I would say it's very necessary.

That's the answer I thought. Thanks! Tires are too damn expensive to ruin like that! Haha

sometimes $60 is a lot of money to me....it was when I finally got my alignment. But after ruining 4 front tires(2 were very old already and the other 2 were used) the alignment ended up being a lot cheaper than the tires.
