Default ebay headlight letting in dust/water

i bought some headlights/tail lights off ebay both different brands for my 05 f-150 and noticed the tail lights were letting in dust around the edges after i drove on a country road and then when i washed the truck i noticed that the headlights were getting foggy on the inside has anyone else had this problem thought about running a bead of silicone around the edges where the lens connects to the housing

Head lights need to be sealed up prior to install.. never had a problem with my aftermarket tails.

You get what you pay for. This is one example where OEM comes in to play.

Some have had success putting a bead of silicone around the lens seam, but others have reported they still fog up.

There's a YouTube video that shows how to take the lense apart and apply a specific type of bonding material then they put it in the oven at a certain degree. This bonds and weather proofs aftermarket lights. A small bead of clear silicone should work also
