Default Easy and free mod

Got bored today and decided to make a stubby antenna!! Didn't feel like spendin any money so I just chopped off bout a foot of the stock one and threw some black paint on it!! Here's how it turned out! O and the radio still works the same

I didn't have a cutting wheel or anything so I just heated it up and bent it till it broke!!

I just did the same thing, after installing my lift, last weekend. Cut 8" off with a dremel, then tapped the ball back on and hit it with a touch of paint. It acts like a curb feeler now, except it lets me know if my roof will hit, instead

Yea I have 2 inches from my roof to the top of my garadge!! My antenna was bent and looked like **** anyways so I decided to chop it!! I think it looks good for free!!

I agree! Why pay money for something that will not function any better. The radio still works fine.

Well my truck is high enough that when I pull in the garage it hits everything! And it was all bent! No frequency thing

I had a stubby antenna from my last truck that went on the moment I got back to my place. Pulled into my covered parking spot, and 'twayayayayang.' Love the stubby. Good job!
