I picked my Whipple up used. $3400 off ebay. Gonna blow your mind but last year JDM put these things on sale for $3000. All I can tell you is keep your eyes open. They do come up. You won't be disappointed with a Positive Displacement blower. I do have a lot in it but never once has a seal been cracked on the motor.

Yeah stay away from the piece kits. Thats no fun. As for bolt ons try to stick with the ones that will benefit you when you get the sc. Lt headers, good exhaust, 80mm tb, SCT X3, e-fans, gear swap, GMS coil upgrade (not the coils just the wires that replace the springs in the factory coils) and suspension mods. These are things you can do now that will add power and ride quality and complement the blower later.

Great TQ

I definitely want to get a whipple for my new-to-me F150. Did you run it on the stock block without any problems?

I hope this isn't a dumb question...

Is the SCT X3 a better choice than the Edge Evolution?

I would encourage you to research this. But the answer is yes.
